Tour Details

Chamarel Discovery (Full day with lunch)

• Departure in private vehicle with experienced driver-guide for a full day tour.
• Drive through one of the biggest natural reserves of the island; stop at our sacred lake called Grand Bassin.
• Stopover at the view point on the Black River Gorges in the National Park
• Then visit the exceptional and geological site called the Seven coloured Earths. This volcanic phenomenon strangely results in a parcel of land reflecting several colours. Then meet the giant tortoises of Aldabra.
• Stopover at the view on the waterfalls of Chamara.
• Then have fun at the Curious Corner of Chamara. It is a fascinating, fun and social tour into the wonderful world of optical illusions, which will leave you quite literally, not believing your eyes! The curious objects and settings will drive you out of this world, just make sure you keep your feet on earth!
• Discover the Rhum distillery of Chamara followed by lunch.

The North Discovery (full day without lunch)

• You will travel through the northern coastal roads of the island to discover landscapes and picturesque sites.
• Get a glimpse of local life through the village of Goodlands before skirting the north coast of Cap Malheureux.
• A visit to the workshop of ship models where you will enjoy the artists at work and visit the showroom of the most famous ships.
• Then have a guided visit of the famous Chateau Labourdonnais set in a beautiful colonial garden and finish the visit with a tasting session (homemade jelly, juices and rum) before heading towards Port Louis.
• Have lunch at leisure at the Caudan Waterfront at the food court or in the numerous restaurants (from salad bars to high class restaurants).
• Then take time for some shopping at Waterfront before the discovery tour of Port-Louis a multi-cultural & historical city.

Island Vibes (full day with lunch)

• What an exciting experience to spend a day on a small islet with numerous and marvellous beaches (with touristic and animated areas and desert and calm area).
• This trip is so much fun and being on a shuttle boat to reach Ile aux Cerfs and gives the opportunity to experience the best of these stunning waters.
• The boat will drop you on ‘Ile aux Cerfs’ and you can enjoy the beaches, have lunch with your feet in the sand, choose a la carte water sports (like parasailing: additional fees on the spot) or just relax on the calm part of the islet (sunbeds included).

Cruise includes: Return shuttle on boat to Ile aux Cerfs and back to jetty, air-conditioned transport with English speaking driver and Sands Menu 2 for Lunch on the beach

Ile Aux Cerfs Island:

• After breakfast, drive to the east coast to enjoy optional water sport activities (parasailing, undersea walk, tube ride and waterfall visit with trip around Ile Aux Cerf Island at additional cost) at Belle Mare Plage.
• Afterwards, transfer by shuttle speed boat to Ile aux Cerfs island. The island is a picturesque island spread over 87 hectares of untouched land off the east coast of Mauritius. It is famous for its white sandy beaches and turquoise lagoons.
• Free on island up to 15h30.
• Return back to mainland by speedboat.
• Drive back to hotel.

Scenic South:

• After breakfast, leave hotel and drive to the South of Mauritius to visit Grand Bassin-The Sacred Lake, Lord Shiva temples and the unique 108ft Lord Shiva Statue.
• Drive through Plaine Champagne and reach at The Valley of Colours to visit 23-coloured earth which dates back to millions of years following the eruption of the Bassin Blanc volcano – its ashes, which bear witness to that event, are unique in the world. (Enjoy activities such as zip line & Quad biking at optional cost and subject to availability).
• Afterwards, proceed for shopping, stop at Floreal souvenir shops, Diamond shops and visit the Model Ship Factory and Trou Aux Cerfs – the Volcanic Crater (Viewpoint) and drive through Curepipe – the scenic residential town.

North Tour:

• After breakfast, drive to Port Louis for a visit of the capital Mauritius including the Citadel Fort & its surrounding areas.
• View the Champ de Mars race course.
• Drive through the city and feel the different cultures living in harmony in Mauritius. Afterwards proceed to Le Caudan Waterfront, with some 170 shops.
• Visit of Apravasi Ghat Musuem and Kuanfu Tea factory
